Hairy affair

Polyurethane foam, styrofoam,

artificial bristle

35 x 19 x 10 cm

The work "Hairy affair" shows a strange, genetically manipulated material. Hair grows out of it in some parts, creating a feeling of alienation and hinting at something unpredictable. The whimsical title contrasts the unsettling depiction and represents an answer to the belief in absolute control. The work emphasises the limitations of human notions of control and superiority over biological life.
